About norito
Small utilities that solve one annoying problem each, built on a simple promise: your files never leave your device.
What norito is
norito is a collection of 90+ free browser tools: PDF utilities, image compressors and converters, developer helpers, text tools, and generators for passwords, QR codes, and more. Every tool runs entirely as JavaScript in your browser tab. There is no server processing your files, no upload step, no account, and no artificial limits.
Why it exists
Most online tools for simple jobs, compressing an image, merging two PDFs, formatting some JSON, make you upload your files to someone else's server, sign up for an account, or click through settings you don't care about. For a five-second task, that's absurd. norito was built for those moments: open the tool, do the thing, close the tab.
How it stays private
Because everything runs client-side, privacy isn't a policy here, it's architecture. There is no backend that could store, log, or even see your files. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's network tab while using any tool and watch, nothing you work on gets transmitted. The full details are on the how it works page.
How it's funded
norito is free and has no premium tier. Hosting costs are covered by ads (Google AdSense) and the occasional coffee from generous visitors. No tool will ever be put behind a paywall.
Who builds it
norito is built and maintained by Shubham Singh, an independent developer from India, with a lot of help from AI tooling for the heavy lifting. New tools ship regularly, everything that changes is documented in the changelog.
