How it works
Each selected page is rendered onto a canvas in your browser at the resolution you choose, then exported as an image. Nothing is sent anywhere, a PDF rendering library runs entirely client-side. One page downloads directly, multiple pages are bundled into a .zip.
Are my PDF files uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion happens entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device or touch a server.
What resolution should I pick?
96 DPI is fine for screens and web use, 150 DPI is a good general-purpose default, and 300 DPI is best for printing or zooming into fine detail. Higher resolution means a larger file.
JPG or PNG, which should I choose?
JPG is smaller and fine for photos or scanned pages. PNG is lossless and better for pages with sharp text, line art, or where you need a transparent background.
Can I convert just some pages?
Yes. Type the page numbers or ranges you want, like 1-3, 7. Leave it blank to convert every page.
What do I get if I convert multiple pages?
One page downloads as a single image. Two or more pages download bundled together as a .zip, one image per page.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Not currently. Password-protected or encrypted PDFs can't be read by the tool and will show an error, remove the password first with a PDF reader.
