Small utilities that solve one annoying problem each.
No accounts, no uploads. Everything runs entirely in your browser. Built for the moments where you need a dummy file, a smaller image, a strong password, or a quick formatter and don't want to dig through five settings menus to get it.

Browse 92 →Why not just upload it to Smallpdf?
Smallpdf, iLovePDF, TinyPNG, remove.bg — they all work the same way: your file goes to their server, gets processed, and comes back. norito skips that hop.
Your file never leaves this tab
Every tool runs with the Canvas, File, and WebAssembly APIs already built into your browser. Open DevTools' Network tab while you use one and watch it stay quiet — that's not a promise, it's checkable in about ten seconds.
No "upgrade for larger files"
Nothing here is metered, watermarked, or gated behind a paid tier. There's exactly one version of every tool, and it's the free one.
Works offline too
Install norito as an app and most tools keep working with no connection at all — there's no server behind them to lose connection to in the first place.
What norito doesn't do (yet)
norito is deliberately narrow. There's no PDF-to-Word/Excel/PowerPoint conversion, no OCR, and no audio or video tools — all three are genuinely hard to do well entirely in the browser without a large one-time download, and we'd rather ship tools that stay fast and focused than half-build a dozen more. Background removal is tuned for portrait and people photos specifically, not general objects — it'll do a mediocre job on a product photo or a landscape.
If one of those gaps is what you came here for, it's not built yet. Tell us what you need and it moves up the list — see the changelog for what's shipped recently.
Common questions
Is my data safe?
Yes. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript, the files and text you work with are processed on your device and never uploaded anywhere. You can check this yourself: open your browser's Network tab while using any tool and you won't see your file leave your machine.
Why is norito free?
Ads (via Google AdSense) cover hosting costs. There's no premium tier, and no plan to put any tool behind a paywall.
Do you store or see my files?
No. There's no server component behind the tools, so there's nothing on our end that could store, log, or even see what you upload.
What happens when I close the tab?
Everything's gone. Nothing is saved except a few interface preferences, like your last-used output format, stored in your browser's local storage, which also never leaves your device.
Do you use cookies?
norito's own code doesn't set any. Google AdSense may set advertising cookies, details are in the Privacy Policy.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Every tool works immediately, no signup, no login, no email address required.
Is there a file size limit?
norito doesn't impose one. In practice, very large files are limited by your device's available memory since everything runs in your browser tab, not by any cap we set.
Does norito work offline?
Yes, for most tools, once you've loaded the site at least once. norito is installable as a Progressive Web App and caches its core files so it keeps working without a connection. See how it works for the full picture.
